2025 General Legislative Session Update: Week 4

Hello District 6!

This is Rep. Matthew Gwynn. We're officially halfway through the 2025 General Session, and we've accomplished much for our great state already.

From strengthening public safety to expanding education opportunities for students and securing Utah's energy future, we're working hard to tackle the issues that matter most to our communities.

Week 4 Video Update

I'm excited to report that HB22, Prostitution Offense Amendments, has unanimously passed both the House and the Senate and has been sent to the Governor's desk to be signed.

The rest of my bills have also passed in the House and are now awaiting their votes in the Senate. I'm confident they'll receive favorable recommendations in their respective standing committees.

We're making great progress in the Legislature, and with only a few weeks to go, I'm committed to pushing forward policies that ensure a brighter future for District 6 and the great state of Utah. Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and feedback!

Thank you,

Matthew Gwynn
Representative, House District 6
